Best of all the world richest people 2012, it went for Zara founder Amancio Ortega, who increased his wealth by 63 percent from 35.3 to 57.5 billion dollars, and advanced to third place.

Telecommunications magnate Carlos Slim, according to Bloomberg, has been the world’s richest person for the entire year. The 72-year-old Mexicans assets increased by totally $ 13.4 billion (21.6 percent) to $ 75.2 billion.

Bill Gates retains according to Bloomberg the title as the world’s second richest person. His fortune has grown by 12.6 per cent to 62.6 billion dollars. Despite an increase of $ 5.1 billion in assets Warren Buffet slipped down one position on the list, his $ 47.9 billion is enough for fourth place.

First on the fifth place Ikea founder Ingvar Kamprad can be found. According to Bloomberg, the Kamprad’s fortune rose by 16.6 percent to $ 42.9 billion, which is significantly lower than the 500 billion SEK (approximately $ 76.4 billion), which placed the Swede at the top of the list of Sweden billionaires 2012. Unlike Bloomberg the Swedish magazine “Veckans Affärer”, and creator of the Swedish list of billionaires, believes that Kamprad actually owns the IKEA Group, which explains the large difference between the numbers.
